Women Resist Security Guard's Demand to Sweep PVC Centre Before Registration (Video)

A viral video has captured the moment a group of Nigerian women pushed back against a security operative who allegedly demanded they sweep the premises of a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) registration centre before being allowed to proceed with their registration.

According to text accompanying the now-trending clip, the women had arrived at the centre to complete their physical PVC registration when the security operative reportedly insisted they clean up the area, citing its untidy condition.

The applicants, however, firmly declined the instruction, maintaining that sanitation duties fell outside their responsibility and suggesting instead that the operative himself should handle the cleaning if it was truly necessary.

The disagreement quickly intensified after the security operative allegedly accused the women of disrespecting their elders, a remark that triggered a heated verbal exchange between both parties. The confrontation, captured on video, has since circulated widely online, drawing a flood of reactions from social media users weighing in on the incident.
