Frederic Forrest, Oscar-nominated actor for 'The Rose,' dies at 86

Bette Midler confirmed Friday that Grederic Forrest, who played her lover in 'The Rose,' has died. The actor also known for his collaborations with Francis Ford Coppola was 86.
