Developer Infinity Ward's next instalment in the long-running Call of Duty shooter series, previously confirmed to be near-future sequel Modern Warfare 2, will launch on 28th October. Platforms have yet to be revealed.
Activision Blizzard formally announced Modern Warfare 2 back in February - after months of rumours and a tease from the publisher in February - alongside a logo and very little else.
But while specifics remain extremely light despite a release date now being out in the wild, Activision Blizzard's new announcement trailer (utterly devoid of gameplay footage if you're wondering), does come with a description revealing a smidgeon more of what's in store.
